I don't have any opinion about which is better for basic vocal tuning but it stands to reason if Variaudio works well for that and is already there in the host it should logically be a better choice than any third party plugin for that basic job, assuming they sound the same and/or are both of acceptable quality, as relates to efficiency anyway, and of course, you already own it so it's free. Was just asking out of curiosity since I haven't personally used Variaudio since v5.5 or so.
